Well, for starters, my younger cousin is going to her prom tonight. I must be am old.
Secondly, C and I received our pre-ordered copy of the book "Happy, Happy, Happy"....
If you have ever watched A&E's Duck Dynasty before, you will recognize the title line. It is so refreshing to find a book, which is a spin-off of the reality show, that will actually have something in it that I would want to read.
None of this Kardashian, whatever-you-call-them business. They shouldn't have books. I obviously don't read them. My reading drama consists of the Hunger Games and Amish novels :)
In case you couldn't tell, the Robertson family has a little something extra to offer than just hunting antics. They also spend time together as a family, and pray before every meal. While the show doesn't touch too much on religion, I decided to do some reading online to figure out what was so special about this family.
As it turns out, Phil has a great story to share. He often speaks and preaches at a variety of places about his faith. Not to mention, he helped raise those wonderful children of his. All of whom are involved in the family business.
