How Big is Owen???

Soooooooo BIG.

 

9 Months Big to be exact, and he couldn't be happier about it!

 



All my exes live in Texas.....

Now that I have that song stuck in your head, on to the real story.

 

I went to Texas! It was awesome. The weather was great, I ate some BBQ, saw the Cattle Drive and Roamed the Stock Yards.

 

We were in Dallas, someday I would love to see more western parts of Texas, but we had a great time in the big D.

If there was one thing I learned about Texas while I was there, is that they are very proud to be called Texans. See for yourself:

This was actually on one of the bridges. They had little "Texas" shapes everywhere.



One of my personal favorite stops was the George W. Bush Presidential Library.

We went to the stock yard and saw the cattle drive:

 

This train actually still runs people from the town of Grapevine to the Stock Yards.

 

If there is one thing I learned, it's that you MUST eat BBQ when it Texas.

 We also visited the Fort Worth Water Gardens, although some of us were more adventurous than others.

Merica' 2014

This Fourth of July weekend was a little crazy for us. We had a lot of out-of-towners in Pittsburgh.

 

 

Chris's Pappy from South Carolina stopped in to check out the property and we had to pause for a photo-op.

 

They are kinda like twins :)

5 Years in Love

It has been 5 years since C and I got married :)

 

We had such a busy weekend we were not sure if we would even have a chance to celebrate our anniversary.

This weekend, my dear friend/sister, Jill, came into town from Texas for her Baby Shower.

 

Her sister, Linda, is super crafty and came up with the perfect Book Theme ideas. Here are a few photos from the day!

C and I are in the process of looking for a house. We have had 2 failed offers so far. Hopefully, we will have many more projects once we find the one!

 

Clearly, Owen cannot wait for Uncle Chris and Aunt Amanda to find a new house!
